PRE-FIX Fixings and Fasteners Limited is based in Blaydon, Tyne & Wear.
The business was formed in 2000 but the present management bought-out the business in 2003.
Since PRE-FIX was acquired it has moved twice - as part of planned expansion - within the Blaydon area.
PRE-FIX is now located in close proximity to the Gateshead Council-run Re-Cycling Centre on Cowen Road (NE21 5TX).
Our normal hours of business are as follows;
- Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 17:00 Hrs
- Friday 07:00 to 15:30 Hrs
- Saturday 08:00 to 11:30 Hrs
During these times 4-phone lines (0191 414 5050) are manned, ready to take your orders and answer your queries.
Our Trade Counter is also open to Trades people and the public during these times.
Here you are invited to a complimentary cup of coffee and a biscuit (if there are any left!).
You may call-in on the way to jobs and pick up the bits you need, or maybe order the gear you need for the next-day.
You might feel the need to pop-in and seek help and advice face-to-face.
We stock a vast array of fixings and fasteners in all sorts of materials and finishes, hand tools, and power tools and consumables.
Standard items that we don't have on-the-shelf are usually available next working day.
For those urgent jobs, we can call you when the goods arrive, so you can collect and get on with the job.
Our own dedicated transport generally aims to make two local delivery runs per day, one in the morning and the second in the afternoon.
For non-standard "specials" we would approach our network of specialist suppliers and provide you with price and delivery quotes.
